The other charity very close to our heart is Snehasadan. This charity saved our beloved friend's life. He was given a chance at life through Snehasadan and is quite probably one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. |
A home for homeless children, regardless of caste or creed, provides a shelter for the numberliess homeless orphans, waifs and destitutes who roam almost every quarter and street in India's "First City". Snehasadan runs 16 homes in different parts of the city under the guardianship of houseparents - each with a family of about 30 children, who find a roof, food, and lots of love, and atmosphere of complete freedom and a sense of belonging that gives them back their self-respect and a place in society. Snehasadan is sustained by the kindness of generous individuals and the benefactors of sympathetic friends who are interested in the welfare of these youth. |
